in-STUDIO Attendance and Payment Policy

Group Programs:  Full payment is due prior to the beginning of the first group lesson. Session tuition payment is not pro-rated due to a student's absence. Due to the commitment level intended for TV & Film actors, there are no "Pay Per Class" options. However, should an instructor cancel a class, a credit for that class will be applied to the students tuition, or a refund will be administered for the single canceled class.

It is the responsibility of the student (or the parent of a student) to notify the instructor immediately if an absence from a class is occurring. Each month's curriculum is designed based upon the skill level and number of students signed up for each class. Due to the use of scene partners, original scripts, and newly designed exercises, a student who misses 2 or more classes a month may be removed from the program.

There are no refunds for leaving a program after the first lesson of the session. There are no refunds if a student is asked to leave a program due to numerous absences or disruptive conduct.

If inclement weather occurs, and class is canceled, a refund or credit for the missed class will be given to the student. If a student opts to not attend a class due to their personal safety with travel conditions, yet the studio is still open and class is held, a refund or credit will not be given.

Private Lessons: When private lessons are set up and agreed upon, a 24-hour cancellation policy is also agreed upon. Failure to notify the instructor of your absence will result in a bill for the studio time and the instructor's time. It is also the responsibility of the student to receive confirmation from the teacher that the private lesson was cancelled. Payment for a private lesson is due at the beginning of the lesson. See Rates on our Services page.

Payment: All forms of payment are accepted. Cash, Check and Credit/Debit. All checks are made payable to "in-STUDIO." A $25 fee is charged for all NSF checks that are returned to the studio. A $25 LATE FEE will be added to the bill of any student who does not pay their balance in full by the 2nd class or audition/lesson.
