In this 6-week course, actors will rehearse and perform the same scene each week to build depth, nuance, and flexibility in their work. Under the guidance of Michael Tourek (Ozark, Red One, The Accountant 2), students will receive personalized coaching and professional-level redirection to help them make strong, repeatable choices for both on-set and audition environments. The class will explore how to adjust performances in real time, respond to direction, and prepare material for both in-person and self-taped formats.
If an actor is absent, their scene partner will continue the work by treating the session like a self-tape or callback, mimicking a real-world expectation of the industry. This class is ideal for actors seeking rigorous training, constructive feedback, and a deeper connection to scene work in a supportive, studio setting.
