Back for their third year at in-STUDIO, C&J Casting returns with an exclusive on-camera workshop designed for represented actors looking to refine their commercial audition technique. Led by Tonya Bludsworth, a veteran casting director who has cast thousands of national and regional commercials, this 2.5-hour intensive provides a behind-the-scenes look at how to stand out in today’s competitive advertising market.
Participants will receive two short commercial scripts four days before the workshop, allowing time for preparation. Actors will perform a combination of improvisation-based and storyboard-driven commercials, designed to test clarity of choice in a fast-paced audition environment. Tonya will provide feedback throughout the workshop in a group format.
The session concludes with a 30-minute Q&A where Tonya will answer questions about the commercial casting process and self-tape submissions.
