Description:
Using professional cinema equipment, lighting, and sound, each actor will record their own monologue on the office film set, filmed from a seated position for optimal framing and intimacy.
Participants will have 20 minutes of on-camera time, allowing multiple takes to refine delivery and adjust tone, pacing, or intensity. Actors may select the official take they want finalized, which will be delivered in high-definition with a simple color grade and cleaned audio mix. Final edits will be provided within one week of the filming date.
Actors will bring a monologue of their choosing and are encouraged to email their material to drew@in-studio.org for review and feedback. For those who would like a partner to perform eyeline support, the in-STUDIO team can provide an actor to assist during filming at no additional charge. Participants should communicate their preferred mood and musical ambience at their appointment time to ensure the finished product reflects their intended tone.
This workshop is a perfect opportunity to create professional footage for Actors Access, personal websites, or your social media reels.
