Complete Script Analysis Workshop - Dec 18th @ 6PM
Complete Script Analysis
Date & Time: Sunday, December 15th · 2:00–5:00 PM
Location: in-STUDIO · Unit A
Instructor: Ben Cunis
Description:
Deepen your understanding of storytelling and character motivation in Complete Script Analysis, an in-depth workshop led by Ben Cunis — award-winning filmmaker, writer, and former professor at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Designed for actors and filmmakers alike, this session explores the full journey from text to subtext, revealing how to unlock every layer of a script.
Through guided exercises and table work, Ben breaks down how to identify beats, shifts, and objectives within a scene. Participants will learn how to recognize tone, emotional rhythm, and story stakes — building a stronger foundation for truthful, on-camera performance. Each actor will work hands-on with short script excerpts, practicing how to approach new material efficiently and effectively.
This workshop is ideal for actors (age 16 and up), directors, and advanced students who want to refine their analytical process, develop stronger character instincts, and learn to interpret scripts like professionals do on set. Bring a notebook, an open mind, and your curiosity for the craft.
Refund Policy:
Refunds for this workshop are available until December 4th, 2025. After this date, tuition is non-refundable. All participants must review the in-STUDIO Student Handbook for policies related to workshops, attendance, and conduct prior to registration.
