Learn to Act. Learn to Work.

in-STUDIO Methodology

in-STUDIO is a nationally recognized actor training facility, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. We are built for serious, career-focused performers. We are proudly non-traditional: no lecture halls, no auditorium seating, no cookie-cutter curriculum. Instead, we offer small-group circuits, weekly original lesson plans, immersive on-camera instruction, and an unfiltered, honest approach to transforming amateurs into working artists. This is actor training, redefined.

Classes & Programs

Whether you're stepping into your first scene or sharpening your skills for the next big role, in-STUDIO offers actor training for all ages and experience levels, both in person and online. Our programs are dynamic, fast-paced, and highly immersive. To maintain the quality of instruction and ensure every actor receives personalized feedback, we limit class sizes and, when necessary, bring in additional faculty to support focused, individualized coaching.

Learn to Act. Learn to Work.

In 2015, eight young actors gathered in our modest Saturday-morning program, driven by curiosity and an unshakeable work ethic. As their talent grew, we built an advanced class around them. Over the next few years, every one of those original students booked leading television or film roles. Their success was no “overnight” phenomenon; we witnessed the relentless rehearsal hours, the learning of new methods, the self-tapes done and redone until the truth of each performance rang clear.

Today, newcomers walk through our doors inspired by those trailblazers, and we remind them that the real legacy they should emulate is the discipline, humility, and collaborative spirit that powered those first eight. That culture, where excellence is earned in weekly practice and every performer is seen, challenged, and championed, remains the heartbeat of in-STUDIO.

Our acting studio is more than a training ground. It’s a carefully designed creative environment. With production offices, recording spaces, a small performance stage, and handcrafted film sets, our facility supports every stage of an actor’s development. Many of our props and furnishings have been generously donated by the families and supporters of our students, making the space not only functional but filled with meaning.

To preserve the focus and privacy of our programs, studio visits are by appointment only. We do not permit walk-ins or unapproved observers. Every class at in-STUDIO is a protected space where actors can take risks, build trust, and grow without distraction. Contact us at auditions@in-studio.org with any questions or to visit our space during a convenient time.
