Our Exploratory High School program is designed for high school actors who are new to the camera, or looking to build their acting foundations in a structured curriculum.
Each 2-hour class combines classical theatre exercises, storytelling fundamentals, and introductory on-camera training to help students build confidence, focus, creativity, and communication skills through performance.
Classical Acting Warm-Ups
Students begin class with movement, voice, imagination, and ensemble-based exercises that help develop posture, breath support, vocal clarity, emotional expression, and stage confidence.
Script & Story Exploration
Students are introduced to age-appropriate script analysis and storytelling concepts, including character objectives, relationships, simple scene structure, and making clear acting choices.
On-Camera Performance Training
Students then apply their work on camera using original short scripts written specifically for the program. Playback review helps students build confidence, self-awareness, listening skills, and comfort performing in front of others.
Original scripts are provided weekly, allowing students to experience fresh characters, creative scenarios, and new storytelling opportunities throughout the month.
During the fourth and final class of each monthly cycle, parents are welcome to observe the full session to better understand the training process and educational structure of the program.
Please note that tuition covers the full monthly session, not individual classes. Because of the structured group format and limited weekly availability, make-up classes are not available for missed absences.
All families are responsible for reviewing the in-STUDIO Student Handbook prior to enrollment. The handbook outlines important studio policies regarding attendance, tuition, student behavior, inclement weather, and class progression.
