One-Day Adult On-Camera Acting Immersion (March 1st)
Body-to-Camera: A One Day On-Camera Immersion for Adults
March 1, 2026 | 1:00–6:00 PM ($450)
This one-day intensive is designed for actors (18 & up) who want to experience in-STUDIO’s process-based training in a focused, high-level environment, yet cannot regularly attend our weekly programs.
The day starts with physical and mental warm-ups, then movement work that supports your scene, short-form improv to spark imagination, and finally on-camera scene work and filming. By the time you’re on camera, you’ll have been pushed to drop habits, respond honestly, and stay present under pressure.
You’ll also learn to watch yourself on camera and see how full-body and mental prep affects your performance. Actors review select clips and get a digital file of their favorite take for marketing or to add to an Actors Access page. This is included in the price, and there are no additional fees attached to this workshop.
All registered actors will be provided with an original script in advance and should plan for two weeks of preparation. Minor modifications may be made to better suit the actor, but full rewrites are not possible, and actors may not bring in outside material.
This intensive cannot be your first acting class ever, but it can be your first experience with us. It is not a beginner program. Theatre-trained actors new to on-camera work are a strong fit, as are actors represented by a film and television agency who have not yet booked significant on-camera work and are looking to strengthen their on-camera craft.
This intensive is only open to 10 actors not currently enrolled in Winter training. Participants are encouraged to eat prior to arrival.
Class footage will be sent 3-5 business days after the wrap of the workshop.
This experience does not replace long-term training but offers a clear window into how we prepare actors for the filming process. All registrants must adhere to our studio tuition policy.
