Short Form Improv for Juniors | Dec 12th
Junior Improv Workshop & Live Showcase
Saturday, December 12, 2026 · 9:30 a.m.–12PM noon
in-STUDIO · Greensboro, NC
Junior actors ages 9-14 Spend the morning learning short-form improv, then take the stage for a live show with family and friends in the audience.
During the first two hours, junior actors will practice improv games that teach them to listen closely, build on a scene partner’s ideas, and make clear choices an audience can follow. They’ll rehearse how to take a suggestion, start a scene, and keep it going when something unexpected happens.
At 11:30 a.m., family and friends are invited in for a 30-minute live improv showcase. The actors will perform the same games they practiced that morning, using fresh suggestions from the audience to create scenes on the spot. They’ll practice giving laughter room when it comes and staying connected to the scene when the room is quiet.
Actor training · 9:30–11:30 a.m.
Live showcase for family and friends · 11:30 a.m.–noon
The show and workshop will end promptly at noon.
All tuition, refund, and attendance policies for this training workshop are outlined in our student handbook and available online.
There is no makeup class for this workshop, as the full class recording will be provided for any absence.
