Location: in-STUDIO · Unit A
Instructor: Drew Matthews

Description:
Demystify the entertainment industry in a transparent, open forum led by Drew Matthews, professional TV actor and owner of in-STUDIO. In this interactive Show Business Q&A, Drew addresses the real-world questions actors and parents most often have about breaking into the industry, sustaining a career, and avoiding common pitfalls.

Held in the stage area of Unit A, this 2.5-hour session begins with a curated selection of questions submitted in advance through the workshop intake form. Last years topics ranged from how to avoid scams and what makes a great headshot, to resume building, understanding Actors Access, creating effective demo reels, and how auditions are truly secured in today’s market.

This is the ideal session for parents of young performers, new actors entering the business, or anyone navigating the next step of their professional journey. Drew’s candid, experience-based answers pull from over two decades of work on more than 40 television shows, offering rare insight into the balance between artistry and professionalism.

Tuition & Attendance Policy:
The cost to attend this workshop is $35 per actor. Each minor-aged actor may bring one parent or guardian at no additional charge. Unfortunately, due to limited seating, additional family members cannot be accommodated.
