Adult Traditional Program: Sitcom Summer Edition*
Saturdays · 1:00–3:30 PM
For the month of July, our Adult Traditional Program transforms into a special three-week sitcom intensive, inspired by the collaborative process of television comedy. All actors will train for TV shows that specialize with multiple camera setups
Actors will be assigned original scenes set within the world of Late Fees, our in-STUDIO multi-camera sitcom series. Working in small ensembles, performers will rehearse, analyze, block, and ultimately perform a fully staged comedy scene using the same professional-style multi-camera setup utilized throughout our summer programming.
This once a year format, combines acting training with practical production experience. Actors will learn how to break down comedic material, build character relationships, identify obstacles, develop timing and reactions, and bring scripted comedy to life on camera.
Throughout the month, participants will rotate between classroom-based rehearsal sessions and filmed performance work, gaining insight into both the preparation and execution required for successful television performances.
Whether you are newer to acting or have years of experience, this 3-week program provides a structured and supportive environment to strengthen scene analysis, ensemble work, camera awareness, comedic timing, and performance confidence.
Please note: Scripts will be provided as part of the program. There are no makeup classes for this session, as this is the only class using this particular script. Please refer to all refund and tuition policies outlined in our student handbook.
July classes meet on the 11th, 18th, and 25th.
